Sara Rue managed to land the lead role on a major network tv show despite being rather zaftig by Hollywood standards. Last year, I noticed that she had dropped a considerable amount of weight and a bit of research revealed that she had lost 30 pounds by ‘cutting out the alcohol over a three year period’. Gee, that sounds suspicious to to me. Did she get a lap band? I believe so, because she has always appeared a hefty girl, she was never a celebrity who vascillated in weight a la Janet Jackson. Something major had to have happened to make her stop eating.

Ok, so if we believe the proferred story, Sara must have been quite the beer guzzler before. To top off her weight loss, Sara acquired the requisitie tarty blonde hair sported by most Hollywood starlets. It doesn’t look as good on her as the 30 pound weight loss.
