American Idol star, Carrie Underwood, just like Kelly Clarkson before her, has dropped a dress size or two as the publicity machine for her album starts churning. She’s now certifiably slim and has the look the music label handlers require prior to helping a female artist become successful.

Allegra Beck, whose family finally admitted that she was suffering from anorexia last year, has gotten some help and gained some weight back. Good for her. In previous years, she has looked like a walking skeleton.

Brooke Hogan is a Z-list celebrity whose weight fluctuates. Notice how slim she is in the middle photo; her stomach muscles are well defined. Later, Brooke gained some weight. I guess her father’s admonitions against eating chocolate chip cookies were ignored.

At her slimmest, in the middle photo, Brooke was very likely working out twice a day and sticking to the Atkins diet (she was seen mentioning the diet plan on her family’s reality tv show).
